👩🏻‍🔬Chien Shiung Wu

Today, I'm going to talk about Chien Shiung Wu who I learned in science. Chien Shiung Wu was born on May 31, 1912 in Jiangsu, China. She was a Chinese- American nuclear physicist. She worked on the Manhattan Project. Lots of people called her " the First Lady of Physics", " the Chinese Madame Curie", and "Queen of Nuclear Research". She got many prizes during her career. She got the Comstock Prize in Physics in 1964, the Bonner Prize in 1975, the National Medal of Science in 1975, and the Wolf Prize in Physics in 1978. She was famous for conducting the Wu experiment. Her colleagues, Tsung Dao Lee and Chen Ning Yang, won the Nobel Prize in physics in 1957. Many people think that it was not fair that she conducted the Wu experiment, but her colleagues got the prize. She was a very strong and powerful woman. This is all the information I know about her.
